    Join us as a Product Control Manager

    • As a Product Control Manager, you'll gain valuable exposure, as you maintain a robust control environment
    • You'll oversee the maintenance of control and governance over the books and records for internal and external financial reporting
    • Hone your leadership skills while taking on a challenging and varied role

    What you'll do

    In your new role, you'll be partnering with the business and providing value added support in relation to business performance. You'll oversee the P&L and balance sheet analysis, which will include the explanation of P&L drivers and balance sheet movements, and you'll be presenting your financial analysis to senior colleagues. We'll also look to you manage the delivery of your team, including off-shore reporting, and, with your leadership capabilities, you'll drive performance and development.

    You'll also be:

    • Providing product control advice and support across the Finance function
    • Completing balance sheet substantiation and control on appropriate balances
    • Building and developing a proactive approach to customer engagement, establishing and sustaining effective service levels and managing delivery to these agreements
    • Keeping up to date on regulatory changes and understanding the impact on the product and businesses
    • Providing business partnership to front office management

    The skills you'll need

    You'll need to have in depth knowledge of relevant products for this role, alongside excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Advanced Excel and database skills will also be critical to this role, as will your influencing and negotiation skills.

    You'll also need:

    • The ability to break down complex problems into their core components
    • Relevant experience in a product control role or function
    • Specialist knowledge of your own area, with a strong understanding of other Product Control areas
    • In depth knowledge of accounting reporting standards and full front to back IT infrastructure
