• Lead design & product development program functional development of a vehicle, including the mechanical, electrical, software, electronic, and functional safety aspects of conventional and Electric Vehicles, Powertrain & Engine Testing & Homologation etc.
• Lead the engineering teams covering engine design activities, optimization of design processes and methods. Engine Testing, Engine Calibration strategy.
• Researching current design and safety flaws, developed new designs and altering existing design to meet government safety and emission laws. Emission & Safety Roadmap.
• Engine category 1.5 L, 2.0 L & 5.9L parts localization, vendor development design finalization, in China & India. Closely worked with Cummins, FEV, Ricardo etc during engine development.
• Hand on experience on engine NVH aspects (vibration levels, sound quality, Sound level, noise target based on benchmark) & improvement strategies.
• Engine coolant heat rejection effects on coolant temperatures, reducing heat rejection and loss in engines, exhaust. heat utilization, reduced friction methods, and cooling system 
• Exhaust Aftertreatment Concepts/Layout/Simulation/Development/Testing/SCR & DPF, Exhaust Aftertreatment Development Future legislations, Emission reduction.
• Responsible for the management of Design activities including Request for Quotations (RFQs), Design freeze / release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Design Verification/Product Validation (DV & PV) testing and Computer-aided engineering (CAE), product bench marking, prototyping, Vehicle Testing, and homologation Certification.
• Analyse to resolve issues, using tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
• Create initial feasibility studies, conceptualize new designs and design revisions, Identify and implement design improvements.

Road map for future development, emission strategy for different category of vehicles M1, M2 etc.
