    Role
    We currently have a vacancy for a Sales&Technical Representative in the Agri-Horticulture department at Azelis Poland. Offices located in Poznań.

    Mission

    This is a very operational, hands-on role: the Sales&Technical Representative will be responsible for promotion of the company and development of sales of the assigned product range to achieve agreed business targets and meet customer needs; building relationship with key contacts and customers seeking opportunities to grow sales of existing and development of new products; as well as maintaining and development of customer projects that are strategic to principal suppliers.

    Reporting & Location

    The Sales&Product Manager reports to the Business Manager Specialty Agri Horti and will be covering by his/her activity the selected territory of Poland. Ideally focusing on the western and northern part of the country.

    Main Accountabilities

  • Maintain and grow customer relationships, negotiate supply contracts, and provide necessary market information to develop product strategies.
  • Generate sales and margin by targeting and opening new business on a range of products
    of Agri Horti portfolio.
  • Manage, develop, and understand the needs of growing customer base.
  • Promote sales of both existing and new products; seek opportunities to introduce new product developments in line with business growth strategies.
  • Set and execute sales and marketing budgets in line with business strategy.
  • Analyze and act proactively on market changes and developments made by customers and competition.
  • Maintain close cooperation of principal managers and local sales team to maximize response to client needs and market development.
  • Close monitoring of key performance indicators for the assigned business area (incl.: sales levels, margin, stock, and receivable rotation).
  • Qualification & Skills

  • Industry experience in chemical distribution of fertilizers for agriculture & horticulture.
  • Degree in Chemistry or Technical Sciences ( Agriculture, Horticulture, Biology, etc.) (Master and/or Bachelor level), additional qualification in economics will be an asset.
  • Experience: minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, with an emphasis on experience in a "best-in-class" international environment / subsidiaries belonging to multinational groups.
  • Excellent language skills (fluency in English and Polish native is a must) .
  • Sense of ownership and drive: self-starter and problem solver who shows a bias for action, acts promptly to remove "roadblocks" and ensures accountability to get things done
    in a timely manner.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, negotiating and persuasion skills and ability
    to implement them at all levels within the customers' business.
  • Team player with excellent networking and collaboration skills, able to deal at all levels
    in the organization, both locally and internationally.
  • Full driving license and openness to frequent travel representing company at client meetings, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
