- Manage and support Global Medical categories
- Create strategies in collaboration with Chief Patient Officer stakeholders
- Handle contract planning, negotiation, and maintenance across different spend categories
- Work across multiple countries with a strong cultural understanding
- Build strong partnerships with Business Owners and Suppliers to address business challenges efficiently
- Liaise with different groups to enhance category services, supplier selection, and competitive bid analysis
- Implement procurement strategies to optimize supplier relationships
- Drive process improvements for efficiency gains and cost savings
- Contribute to achieving R&D procurement savings targets annually
- 5+ years of experience in procurement category management
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in English
- University degree
- Knowledge and experience in R&D Procurement and/or Evidence Generation
- Experience with procurement lifecycle management systems such as Ariba Sourcing
- Proficiency in Supplier Relationship Management
- Experience in international sourcing processes

In this position, as a Senior Manager in the R&D Procurement Team, you will lead the category management responsibilities, focusing on sourcing, contract management, and executing category strategies. You'll work on developing and implementing strategies, negotiating agreements, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring suppliers uphold GSK's standards for performance, quality, and finances.
The Evidence Generation category plays a crucial role in supporting the Global Evidence Generation teams. This category encompasses various services that offer valuable evidence to enhance the value proposition and reimbursement potential of products.
