    The "Organics to Power" (O2P) Logistics Country Manager Manager is one of the key members of the Saria Group's logistics strategy for the management of the cyclical economy division (Secanim: Management of animals found dead on farms and Refood management of bio-waste.

    The O2P Logistics Country Manager Poland is responsible for all logistics activities within O2P Poland. He/she will also be responsible for coordinating logistics activities with his/her counterpart of the other divisions and be in contact with his/her O2P counterpart in the other countries.

    This role is leading a team of the four that are in charge for their respective areas:

    • Performance Manager Poland
    • Logistics Manager Refood Poland
    • Logistics Manager Secanim Poland
    • Transport Manager Poland

    He/she is also responsible for ensuring that all logistics activities run smoothly, enforcing agreements between the various entities, ensuring the financial equilibrium of activities and promoting development.

    He/she is responsible for designing and organising logistics strategies with the aim of ensuring that a product progresses from production to distribution with a constant concern for optimising the quality/cost/time triptych. He/she decides whether to outsource storage and transport. He/she manages relations with service providers.

    In addition to his or her operational responsibilities, he or she acts as a point of reference within the organisation for performance improvement methodologies and tools. He/she implements action plans to reduce costs, lead times and stocks, and to improve customer satisfaction.

    The position has an international dimension, as coordination with the various European logistics managers is necessary to ensure that the assignments run smoothly.

    Core responsibilities

    • Participating in budgets and monitoring results on a monthly basis.
    • Implementing action plans to achieve the targets set in the budgets.
    • Developing or modifying the logistics structure throughout the perimeter in order to achieve financial targets and the expected level of service quality.
    • Main contact for other countries for all logistics activities in Poland. Responsible for liaising with colleagues in other countries.
    • Challenging the teams on service levels.
    • Define and monitor daily and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that we maintain a high level of service for our upstream and downstream customers while optimising our costs.
    • Implementing and working on tools to improve the management and optimisation of logistics processes.
    • Technical sales contact for logistics with key customers.
    • Manage/coordinate, within a matrix organisation, each activity manager and ensure that best practice is shared in each region.
    • Define a service level standard for the O2P division and ensure that it is in place in all regions.
    • Monitoring the reduction of our carbon footprint related to internal and external logistics.
    • Make proposals for urban distribution and less contaminating means of transport.
    • Carry out or commission logistics optimisation studies.

    Required profile

    • Knowledge :
      • Bachelor or Master Logistics, Commerce, Transport or related studies
      • At least 5 years experience in a similar position managing logistics teams preferably in an international environment
    • Know-How :
      • Good leadership and management skills.
      • He/she must be able to take decisions, anticipate the market in which the company operates and have a thorough knowledge of the company's products, tools, suppliers and customers.
      • He/she must also have a taste for negotiation and be a good communicator. The pace of work means that you will need to be available to meet the company's requirements.
      • Good command of Polish and English is mandatory; French, Spanish or German are a plus.
      • Good command of IT Office tools
      • Strong customer experience orientation - Experience in customer service
