- Russian
- Translating texts from English into one of the languages mentioned above, chiefly related to video games;
- Editing texts in one of the languages mentioned above
- Making sure that deadlines are met
- Collaborating with PMs, editors, and other translators.
- Perfect knowledge of English in all possible aspects (punctuation, grammar, and spelling)
- Even better command of your target working language
- Experience with translation, preferably game or e-sport localization projects
- Linguistic degree preferred, but you may also be a last-year student
- Attention to detail (use the keyword "Forest" in your application)
- Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
- Passion for games is an advantage
- Proficiency in CAT tools is an advantage.

JOB INFORMATION
Type of cooperation: long-term, freelance
Location: it's remote cooperation. Ideally, if you are located anywhere between (UTC+0) and (UTC+3) timezones
Work hours: you need to be available to answer e-mails during our office hours (9-17 CET, Mon-Fri)
Availability: we are looking to start cooperation with freelancers who potentially can translate 8-10k words a week

If your application matches the requirements, we will invite you to the recruitment process. We will ask you additional questions to check whether we are a good fit for each other. The next step is completing a language sample. It's composed of small fragments of various texts, chiefly related to video games, and it has a 24 deadline. Our in-house linguist will review the sample, and we will get back to you with the feedback information within two weeks.
If everything goes well, we will sign a freelance cooperation agreement. From this moment our Project Managers will be able to contact you directly with suitable projects.
