- A seasoned Engineering Leader with 4+ years of experience managing Software Engineers
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Passionate about building high-performing teams and challenging yourself and others to constantly learn and improve
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, in the interest of mentorship and self-improvement
- Knowledgeable about backend services and client applications, and best practices for interaction between the two
- Experienced with Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, and desire to work in an Agile environment
- Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing
- Strong communication and collaboration qualities

The role
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be instrumental in fostering the growth and technical aptitude of Software Engineers and Software Test Engineers. You'll act as a consultant to the technical staff, leveraging your experience, knowledge, and skills to provide guidance. We value leaders with solid situational leadership, a servant-leader mindset, coaching expertise, and effective communication skills. Your role involves guiding engineers to maintain a quality-focused atmosphere while meeting business needs and staying aligned with Product Managers, Product Designers, and other chapters. Leading by example, and demonstrating accountability, openness, agile fluency, and technical prowess are critical. You'll oversee autonomous software delivery, address team challenges, coach team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes within project timelines and budgets.
Where you'll work
You have to be located in Poland to be considered for this position. You'll have the flexibility to choose between remote work or working from our office in Warsaw.
