    What you will do:

    • Collaborate with talented engineers to enhance user experience through new features.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver seamless experiences.
    • Contribute to various aspects of Box desktop applications, addressing challenges and improving user interfaces.
    • Identify user pain points, propose solutions, and actively participate in shaping the future of our applications.
    • Engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to complex technical solutions.
    • Research and present design approaches to improve software performance and user experience.

    Who you are:

    • Proficient in C++, C#, or Swift, with basic knowledge of Python or Objective-C.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing Windows or Mac desktop applications.
    • Familiar with modern testing methodologies and agile team collaboration.
    • Passionate about building secure, user-friendly software to meet diverse needs.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English.
    • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    Bonus:

    • Experience in Windows systems-level programming or tools like Jenkins and Jira.

    Percentage of Time Spent:

    • 10% design
    • 60% coding, testing, and code reviews
    • 5% documentation
    • 15% bug fixes and issue investigation
    • 10% meetings

    Methodology and Tools:

    • Agile management - Scrum
    • Issue tracking tool - Jira
    • Knowledge repository - Confluence, Box, GitHub Enterprise
    • Code reviews - GitHub Enterprise
    • Version control system - GIT
    • Build server - Jenkins
    • Messaging/meetings - Slack/Zoom
