    • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise plant operations and achieve production targets.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align plant objectives with overall company goals.
    • Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
    • Implement and monitor production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality packaging materials.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all plant personnel.
    • Provide leadership and direction to plant personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Develop and mentor staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • Optimise the use of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower, to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
    • Manage the plant budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce lead times, and increase overall productivity.
    • Implement best practices in packaging technology and innovation.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, sales, and marketing teams.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure a seamless supply chain.

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing, preferably in FMCG.
    • Strong understanding of continuous improvement, productivity, quality standards and safety regulations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement process improvements.
    • Familiarity with relevant software and systems used in plant management.
