    Your Role

    This role is based at our office in Warsaw, Poland, within the EMEA Talent Acquisition Division.

    Abbott's Talent Acquisition team operates on a global scale, facilitating worldwide recruitment, executive talent acquisition, Early Careers programs, employer branding, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Our mission is to deliver prompt, high-quality services to our internal stakeholders while ensuring an exceptional candidate journey.

    As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for Hiring Managers and Candidates across various business Divisions (Medical Devices, Diagnostics, and Nutrition) and Functions (e.g., Operations, Quality, R&D, Sales).

    You will oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for both individual contributors and managerial roles across the entire EMEA region, collaborating with Talent Acquisition peers in multiple countries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing a deep understanding of each client's business goals and strategic direction
    • Collaborating with hiring managers and Business HR to comprehend skill requirements, background, and experience needed for each job opening
    • Crafting tailored recruitment strategies in partnership with hiring managers, setting clear expectations and objectives
    • Implementing effective sourcing techniques to attract well-suited candidates, leveraging internal Abbott resources efficiently
    • Identifying, screening, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process, providing feedback at every stage
    • Ensuring a structured and competency-based interview process for each role, organizing assessment centers as necessary
    • Handling salary negotiations and managing the offer process in accordance with company protocols
    • Cultivating strong relationships with new and existing recruitment agencies, overseeing Preferred Supplier List (PSL) adherence to manage recruitment expenses
    • Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (Workday), generating reports as needed
    • Analyzing and presenting data to offer strategic market insights and conduct market research
    • Developing recruitment budgets for business units, encompassing various strategies such as media channels, referrals, recruitment agencies, job fairs, websites, social media, and direct sourcing

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
    • Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous
    • Demonstrated success in candidate sourcing through diverse tools and networks
    • Strong assessment abilities to evaluate candidates' business acumen, technical expertise, and key behaviors
    • Proficient in driving and overseeing the talent acquisition process to ensure client and candidate satisfaction
    • Ideally, a blend of experience in agency and in-house recruitment
    • Professional, responsible, energetic team player with a collaborative spirit
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment
    • Competitive nature, strong work ethic, and a drive to learn, develop, and excel
