    Job Summary:

    Our Client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Operations Director to drive the development of a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, efficiency, automation, quality, and sustainability.

    The Operations Director will oversee various areas including manufacturing, warehousing, engineering, maintenance, customer service, health & safety, quality control, finance, and HR.

    As a member of the European Leadership Team, effective teamwork and communication at all levels are essential to support the company's goals.

    Reporting to the Senior VP Operations, the Operations Director is responsible for meeting budget commitments, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

    Key tasks and responsibilities:

    • Lead daily operations to maintain a safe work environment
    • Support company's mission and values
    • Drive operational excellence and digitalization
    • Identify efficiency gaps and optimization opportunities
    • Collaborate with business partners and European Management
    • Benchmark with other plants for efficiency gains
    • Develop employees with lean management principles
    • Research industry trends and innovations
    • Maximize production capacity
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards

    Experience & competences:

    Requirements include 10+ years experience as an Operations Director in a production environment, with a background in production companies.

    Education:

    Higher education, preferably technical and Business Administration (MBA)
