- Conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) of new and existing products
- Facilitate Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) workshops.
- Collaborate with all departments involved in development of new product or manufacturing process.
- Lead design reviews of products under development phase (mainly: Electronics, Relays, etc.) using Design FMEA.
- Ensure high quality of whole FMEA activity and correct application of the method.
- Coach the development team in FMEA method.
- Consult on R&D projects with regard to quality improvement opportunities.
- Introduce innovative solutions and ideas to improve design and process.
- Share expertise and knowledge between different development sites.
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical skills to analyze technical data, identify trends and define priorities for process improvement.
- Self‐motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of competing priorities and projects.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Open to worldwide travels.
- Fluent English.
- Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical Engineering).
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role (Quality, Engineering or R&D).
- Willingness to contribute to the entire design process of electronic devices, including definition of requirements, simulation, development of schematics, PCB design, prototyping, testing and verification.
- Competences in design of electronics for industrial applications.
- Practical knowledge of FMEA for electronics.
- Practical knowledge of Reliability Engineering, as well as hardware life time testing (ALT and HALT) is a plus.
