Your Responsibilities

We are in search of an experienced Engineering Manager with a mindset geared towards continual improvement, ready to oversee 1-2 cross-functional product teams, nurture their growth, and maximize their productivity.

This position is full-time, utilizing a hybrid model (a minimum of 3 days weekly in the office) with offices in Warsaw and Wrocław.

Your Role Will Encompass:

• delivery - focusing on enhancing the software delivery of your teams by removing obstacles, finding efficiencies, addressing technical needs, and aligning cross-team efforts,
• communication - ensuring alignment among Product Managers and product teams, facilitating meetings, ensuring clarity on priorities shared across the team and other departments,
• team growth - recruiting and onboarding new team members, mentoring and supporting the product team, gathering feedback for continual improvement, and addressing issues proactively,
• leadership - guiding cross-functional product teams, assisting other Engineering Managers, refining processes and tools for optimal product outcomes, fostering professional growth among team members, and promoting team retention

Your Qualifications

• demonstrated experience managing interdisciplinary product teams (web, mobile, design) in roles such as Engineering Manager, Tech/Team Lead, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master,
• past hands-on development experience (various tech stacks) to enhance confidence and communication within the team, though actual coding may be limited,
• strong communication skills, including facilitation and active listening, with knowledge of NVC being advantageous,
• deep familiarity with Agile/Lean practices in product development, utilizing methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, Management 3.0, Agile, and Lean practices,
• experience in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering empathy and openness among team members,
• capacity for giving and receiving constructive feedback, resolving team challenges and conflicts skillfully, prioritizing outcomes over mere output,
• proficiency in English to collaborate effectively in a multicultural setting
