- Supporting the product development teams in the development of products for sanding and grinding applications
- Provision of prototypes and samples for internal testing and market tests
- Planning, execution, management and documentation of laboratory tests and production trials
- Development of suitable test methods
- Creation and administration of drawings and product specifications
- Contributing to plant and process optimisation, identifying potential for improvement
- Supporting problem solving issues as well as customer complains
- Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineer or similar subject
- Minimum 2-3 years of work as a Product Engineer,
- Experience in international manufacturing company
- Mandatory good knowledge of English language
- Proficiency with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for reviewing and modifying technical drawings - mechanical drawing (2D)
- Experience in product development
- Knowledge of chemistry and hotmelt extrusion is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanical testing methodologies and equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes to accurately describe manufacturing process descriptions.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in document editing and formatting tools (, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel)
- Good IT-knowledge and capabilities
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Hands-on mentality and good level of initiative/autonomy
- Good communication skills and enjoy working in teams and in a production environment
- Good time management, ability to work on multiple projects
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop
