    Position Overview

    We're seeking an experienced and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our team at Autodesk in Krakow. If you have a knack for crafting innovative, aesthetically pleasing solutions to complex problems, this role is for you:

    As a Senior UX Designer, you'll have the opportunity to apply and further develop your design skills, contributing to the evolution of electronics functionality within our Autodesk Fusion product.

    You'll be reporting to a Senior Experience Designer Manager, part of a global team of dedicated design professionals, all passionate about their craft.

    Your role will involve close collaboration with a talented team of UX designers, and stakeholders from Product Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Content Development, and Quality Assurance. Together, you'll create compelling experiences that assist our customers in solving their most critical "design and make" challenges.

    You'll play a key role in defining our customer experience strategy, and creating design solutions that not only delight our customers but also meet our business objectives and deadlines.     Responsibilities

  • Support the definition of the strategic direction of projects and features from a customer experience perspective
  • Heavy emphasis on detailed design with approximately 25% strategic research
  • Maintain active contact with customers and prepare design assets that you will use when you participate in customer research and data analysis
  • Assist with translating this data into the design of new capabilities and/or features
  • Distill customer needs into a set of capabilities that will benefit the customer in the most effective way
  • Integrate business, marketing, design, technical opportunities, goals, and constraints into product designs
  • Design and evaluate alternative solutions to choose the best approach -Visualize and prototype an intended solution
  • Meet and collaborate with customers and internal partners to validate conceptual designs
  • Deliver design documentation for use by multiple internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that concrete benefits of the customer-centered design are measured, documented, and communicated
  • Participate in design review sessions with other user experience designers, and give and receive constructive feedback that will help you develop your design abilities

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of relevant commercial software UX design experience
  • Demonstrated experience in wireframing, prototyping, high and low-fidelity mock-ups, designing workflow interactions
  • Ability to visualize and prototype intended solutions using a range of tools and formats at various levels of fidelity
  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas, and large amounts of data and viewpoints, to their essence
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end strategic design projects including an ability to partner with and influence stakeholders

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Exposure to physics specifically around impedance, resistance, capacitance, and inductance
  • Exposure to other EDA software
  • Exposure to CAD software
  • Have worked on complex commercial products for engineers
