    Marketing Manager - Bulgaria

    About the role

    As the Marketing Manager Bulgaria, you will assume a pivotal leadership role with overarching responsibility for driving growth, optimizing performance, and shaping the strategic vision for the Bulgarian market. Your role transcends traditional Marketing Manager responsibilities, requiring visionary leadership to shape and execute transformative initiatives. You will wield significant influence over global and regional marketing strategies, leading and guiding a team of seasoned professionals. Stakeholder engagement will extend to the highest levels, collaborating with the CEE BU Marketing teams and the CEE Export Markets Leadership Team to secure approval and alignment on mission-critical initiatives. In this dynamic role, you will hold full P&L accountability, ensuring that your strategic decisions not only drive impact but also align with broader organizational objectives.

    Role Responsibilities

  • Exercise executive leadership by supervising and empowering a high-performing team of marketing professionals, providing strategic guidance, training, and unwavering support to execute marketing initiatives at an exceptional level.
  • Spearhead and elevate brand marketing efforts, overseeing the development and execution of a consistent messaging, visual identity, and positioning strategy across diverse channels and touchpoints.
  • Strategically manage substantial media investments by collaborating closely with media agencies to develop sophisticated media plans, optimize spend, and meticulously track campaign performance.
  • Lead and execute high-impact promotional activities, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and other initiatives, with the aim of not only propelling consumer awareness but also solidifying purchase intent.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams such as sales, product development, and creative services, ensuring a seamless and integrated approach to marketing efforts.
  • Conduct advanced market research and analysis, identifying nuanced consumer trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes, utilizing insights to inform and shape cutting-edge marketing strategies.
  • Take command of trade marketing activities, encompassing trade promotions, merchandising, and channel-specific marketing initiatives, strategically aligned to support and elevate sales and distribution objectives.
  • Leadership of assigned cross-Export Markets initiatives & projects.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a Marketing Manager, Senior/Group Brand Manager or Customer Marketing Manager roles within the FMCH or FMCG industry.
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of brand marketing, media planning, and trade marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing transformative marketing strategies that drive substantial business growth and elevate consumer engagement.
  • Extensive experience orchestrating successful new product launches.
  • Proficient in advanced market research and analysis techniques.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Results-oriented mindset with a strategic focus, demonstrating a can-do attitude and consistently delivering measurable outcomes that exceed ambitious targets.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, effectively navigating the complexities of executive leadership interactions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, showcasing the ability to inspire and motivate teams to surpass goals.
  • Location – this role can be based in: Budapest or Warsaw
