    Our client - the Finance Shared Service Center organization supports all units globally. They have an exciting future ahead of them with a clear Finance strategy roadmap. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient, and digital environment, and they are aiming to be on the frontline of next-generation Business Finance.


    We are now looking for an RTR Accountant to join their Record to Report team.

    your tasks

    • prepare and post journal entries for IFRS-specific accounting areas (e.g. intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension accounting, inventory)
    • reconcile balance sheet accounts
    • analyze financial statement figures and variances
    • respond in an effective and timely manner to all Business Partners' inquiries concerning your area of responsibilities
    • drive standardization and improvements of accounting processes
    • prepare Intrastat and VAT reports
    • participate in internal and external audits

    what we expect

    • university graduate with at least 1/2 years of work experience in accounting/finance area
    • very good English skills (at least B1 level) and German - nice to have
    • knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (especially IFRS)
    • experience in preparation VAT reports for EU companies would be an asset
    • computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications (with particular focus on Excel). Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset
    • results and action-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and communication skills
    • pragmatic & logical thinking with an eye for detail and an analytical mind
    • flexibility, especially in the period of month/year-end closing
    • strong organizational and time management skills
