    Opis

    Join one of the largest financial institutions in the world as a Senior Oracle Administrator. We are looking for a skilled individual for the infrastructure delivery team in the Payments IT department. The team builds and supports infrastructure in various technologies including Linux, MQ, WAS, and Oracle.

    Your role
  • Cooperate with application teams around the world to deliver projects and consulting services while maintaining good relationships
  • Collaborate with the global IT payments team to deliver infrastructure and standardization projects
  • Design, review, and optimize databases according to application requirements
  • Install and administer database servers in accordance with Group standards, identifying the causes of problems and implementing preventive measures
  • Create and implement self-service solutions that automate database operations
  • Monitor performance, manage capacity, and schedule backups and tasks
  • Create and update documentation regarding the installation, configuration, and administration of database servers
    • Your skills
  • Experience in database support in mission-critical Application
  • Strong understanding of technology layers in application landscape, storage, OS, network, database, application,
  • Understanding of customer's needs and delivering excellent customer service,
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/DevOps environment
  • Openness to work from the office in Krakow once a month
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
