    Rôle et responsabilités

    CAE in Kraków is looking for talented employees who are interested in pursuing their career path in a managerial direction, as a Supervisor.

    The role we are offering you:

  • Manage and grow cross-functional teams of software engineers
  • Provide guidance to the team and ensure they adhere to development standards and best practices
  • Manage scope, schedule, quality, risks, and issues
  • Partner with peers in Product Management, Support, Delivery and Operations teams to ensure efficient prioritization, roadmap execution, efficient product delivery and ongoing support
  • Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams
  • Work with technical leads and architects to enhance the effectiveness, productivity, and performance of the software engineering teams with a focus on Agile methodologies
  • Communicate progress updates to stakeholders, highlight risks and propose mitigation plans
  • Create goals and manage team performance

    • Our ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of experience in building enterprise software solutions
  • Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle from design to deployment and good knowledge and understanding of modern software engineering practices
  • Experience in driving improvements in processes within the team and organization
  • Being able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching and grasp complex problems
  • Being proactive and committed to getting things done
  • Very good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish

    CAE Flight Operations Solutions is an industry-leading digital platform trusted by the world's top airlines and business aviation companies to optimize their operations. Every year, more than 50 million flights and over 200,000 crew members are supported by CAE's flight operations software backed by a global team and unparalleled expertise.

    Crew Access is a tool which airlines provide to their crew members. It allows to manage cabin and cockpit crew members throughout their operations. Based in Krakow, the Crew Access team is a vibrant, passionate group of 26 talented individuals working in flexible sub-groups. Hackathons, innovative ideas, and technology modernization are among the various aspects of this team. We focus on bringing rich content and automation to airlines around the world. The team is generally a bit more agile than the average in IT in Poland. Currently we rely on scrum ceremonies partially, adjusting those for our own needs, the approach often called a scrum-but. We have a couple of formal and informal team leaders, however as the number of people and project complexity are growing, we need you to keep things in order.
