    The successful candidate will be supporting the implementation and maintenance of the benefits tracking capability at AXA XL, including continuous improvement of associated tooling and processes.

    What will your essential responsibilities include?

    1. Benefits tracking process

  • Work with benefit owners and corresponding project / program teams to ensure that committed benefits are aligned with the most recent version of the business case. Regularly reconfirm with benefit owners that overall committed benefit numbers are current
  • Closely liaise with stakeholders in the masterplanning function to ensure underlying roadmap details with benefit impacts are received in high quality, and committed benefits are linked to respective milestones
  • Track jointly with masterplanning planned- vs actual delivery of milestones and use this information in the benefits tracking activity to create visibility on potential benefits changes due to timeline shifts impacting the benefits realization. Facilitate monthly update cycles and standardized reporting on benefits realization patterns and potential deviations vs. initial assumptions
  • 2. Benefits tracking tooling

  • Support the implementation of a consistent benefits tracking and common reporting which provides visibility into main programs / projects benefits delivery for Business- and Functional leaders, operational Project Teams as well as Senior Management
  • Own the benefits tracking tool as a PPM/PMO asset, and continuously maintain and improve its capabilities ( for allocating benefits to Country / LoB and generating templates). Drive continuous improvement as well as optimization and simplification of tooling and associated processes
  • Ensure close linkage to Planview processes and tooling, especially in case of changes to source data coming via the masterplanning team
  • 3. Benefits tracking stakeholders

  • Align with other stakeholders (such as PMO Large Programs support but also PPM colleagues involved at the demand intake process) to ensure benefits tracking support via masterplanning is coordinated with other Program- / Project activities to measure quantitative benefits, and alignment with initial business cases submitted
  • Inform Finance functions (such as O&T Finance) on changes in benefits realization patterns to understand impacts on Corporate Planning & Forecasting processes
  • The role will be reporting to the Masterplanning Manager in another AXA XL location. At times you may be asked to adjust your hours to support/collaborate across global time zones.

    We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • University degree or higher
  • Fluency in English is a must (at least C1 level)
  • 2+ years' experience of working within the insurance industry
  • Analytical approach with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding skills in Excel, including Marcos/VBA
  • Excellent capability to contextualize numbers in the wider context
  • Good visualisation and presentation skills, such as powerpoint
  • Ability to easily flex with changing workloads and prioritisation
  • Ability to engage across business functions and business stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, people skills with an ability to collaborate and work independently at home, in the local office or another AXA XL office
  • Capacity to interact inside the team and with stakeholders from various seniority levels
  • Proven detailed orientation, coordination, organization and facilitation skills, with a proclivity toward consistency and simplicity
  • Inquisitive mind and courage to challenge the status quo
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Package, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • The person we are looking for may also have these abilities and skills:

  • Experience with Power BI and Planview of advantage
  • Skills in Excel Power Query reporting and SQL
  • Experience working at AXA XL
