Roles and Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain virtualization infrastructure based on platforms.
• Optimize virtual resources to ensure efficient utilization while maintaining performance.
• Implement resource scaling and load balancing to meet application demands effectively.
• Fine-tune the virtualization environment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement automation scripts for virtual resource provisioning and management.
• Diagnose and resolve virtualization-related issues, including network, security, and performance problems.

Skills requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, or QEMU.
• Understanding of virtualization security best practices, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance - VMware vCenter, Hyper-V Manager, QEMU Manager.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve virtualization issues.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for virtual resource provisioning and management - PowerShell, Ansible, Bash.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for virtual resource automation and deployment.
• Understanding of virtualization networking and associated tools - NSX, Hyper-V Network Virtualization.
• Experience with virtualization monitoring and management tools - vRealize, SCOM.
• English language skills at least at level B2.

Skills Nice to have:

• Certifications related to the specific virtualization platform being used.
• Familiarity with tools for virtualization backup and disaster recovery. Tools: Veeam, Windows Server Backup.
• Knowledge of serverless computing and associated services.
