Our Warsaw office is an incredibly exciting addition to our EMEA expansion.

We're already in the UK, France, and Germany, and the new Poland location will act as a global engineering and product development hub alongside our headquarters in Redwood City, California.

Box has long provided tools for enterprises to manage their content, including a powerful metadata engine that allows high scale sophisticated SQL-like query across documents.

As we build out Box AI, we are re-imagining the user experience for these metadata features to take advantage of what we see as an inflection point in the traditional Enterprise Content Management market.

We are hiring for a new Content Experiences team to build out new features and iterate on existing features to support exciting new use cases for metadata-driven line of business applications on our platform.

Who you are:
Ideally 5+ years of professional software development experience.

BS, MS, or Ph D in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java Script, and relevant frontend libraries and frameworks You possess strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles You are experienced in helping define REST APIs.

Experience with testing principles and frameworks (Jest/Cucumber/Web Driver IO etc.) Assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner Adapt to the technical and stylistic needs of integrations and projects as they occur; including technical tools, programming languages, technical limitations, and product requirements Review and assess the technical feasibility of project requirements and propose innovative solutions Be the technical expert and provide guidance to junior engineers on best practices, coding standards, and complex technical issues Must speak English proficiently Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture.

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Preferred skills:
You have Experience with

Ideally, you've also worked with Java.

Experience with public cloud systems such as GCP, AWS or Azure Knowledge of Relational Database and Document database design.

Experience in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment Experience contributing to open source project
