    For our client, a leading global manufacturer of paper for hygienic and domestic use, we are currently seeking a candidate for the position:

    IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provision of technical support to end-users through email, phone, and our Help-Desk portal
    • Management of workstations and associated hardware peripherals
    • Proactive monitoring of hardware functionality, with swift intervention when necessary
    • Installation and configuration of software on computers as per specified guidelines
    • Conducting training sessions for end-users on the use of new software and IT equipment
    • Organization and scheduling of updates and maintenance activities in collaboration with end-users
    • Maintenance of comprehensive records for repairs and corrections
    • Identification and resolution of deficiencies in network peripherals and equipment

    The ideal IT Administrator we seek is not only technically proficient, but also possesses essential soft skills. Effective communication, a solid understanding of the organization's business, analytical capabilities, and the ability to identify optimization opportunities are fundamental requirements. You will be responsible for analysing and categorizing a broad range of service requests as the first line of investigation. Handling, coordinating, monitoring, and documenting issues from initiation to resolution will be under your purview. In case of necessity, you may escalate problems to higher levels of support or dedicated support groups. In addition to service-related tasks, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate IT Department and System & Network Operations Supervisors to enhance the overall IT environment.

    Formal Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a system administrator
    • Proficient in written and spoken English (utilized daily)
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Understanding of business processes, coupled with a systematic and structured approach to daily tasks
    • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC or SAP 4/HANA
    • Advanced knowledge of network architectures, topologies, and protocols (routing and switching)
    • Experience in managing virtualized server environments based on VMware products
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Office 365
    • Valid driving licence (Class B)
