    About the role

    The ServiceNow Platform Architect is pivotal in guiding the strategic evolution of our ServiceNow applications, balancing organizational objectives with technical innovation. This role demands expertise in architectural design, contributing to the development roadmap, and optimizing platform capabilities. Acting as a technical advisor and a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, the architect ensures solutions are both practical and aligned with business needs. With a comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow architecture, ITIL framework, and continuous engagement in platform advancements, this individual plays a crucial role in streamlining the development lifecycle and maintaining our position as a leader in leveraging ServiceNow technology.

    Responsibilities

  • Strategic Architectural Leadership: Provide direction for the development of new and existing ServiceNow applications, ensuring architectural decisions are evaluated against organizational risks and benefits. Your role will be instrumental in identifying and recommending enhancements to the current ServiceNow architecture. Technical Design and Documentation: Develop and maintain high-quality solution designs that serve as a blueprint for the development team.
  • Roadmap Contribution: Collaborate with the Product Owner to contribute to the product roadmap, translating strategic vision into actionable milestones and features.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and leverage ServiceNow platform capabilities
  • Technical guidance : Provide technical guidance to the ServiceNow Technical Lead and development team.
  • Stakeholders Engagement and Support : Engage with business and technical stakeholders by providing technical insights, preparing, and demonstrating application and solution demos, and acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams. Your role will include assisting Business Analysts and the Product Owner in analysing business requirements for feasibility, system architecture compatibility, and business value.
  • Development Lifecycle Oversight: Ensure the entire platform SDLC conforms to development and security policies.
  • Continuous Learning : Maintain an in-depth, up-to-date understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities, limitations, and product developments, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert within the organization.
  • Job Requirements:

  • You have in-depth and hands-on experience with implementing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions
  • You have in-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture, especially ITOM & Discovery, ITSM Professional, Service Portal, CSM, Integration Hub; You must possess a strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM and respective experience in implementing ITOM solutions (Event, Discovery, Service Mapping, etc.)You know how to build Web Services integrations such as SOAP and REST APIsYou know how to design solutions using JavaScript, CSS, and HTMLYou're a great communicator, with the ability to communicate with audiences at all levels (e.g., Executive Management, Management, Technical Team Members).You have good understanding of ITIL frameworkExperience with Agile and DevOps practices
  • Qualifications

  • Previous experience with ServiceNow is required. Typically, has at least 5+ years of related experience as a ServiceNow Architect and/or ITSM related role
  • ServiceNow certifications in ITSM, ITOM, CSM
  • ITIL Foundations V3 or V4 certifications nice to have
  • Related industry certifications highly preferred
