    • Qurate Retail Group Global Business Services center in Cracow is a member of the Qurate family that offers world-class Finance, HR Services, IT and Software Engineering to Qurate team members in Germany, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Our GBS center is an facility, with an organized and remarkable design and culture.

    Currently, we are looking for:

    Platform Engineer

    who would be an experienced technology professional working to deploy integrate and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) based containers into the existing HSN Digital infrastructure including migration of QA and Production environments to Azure from the current self-hosted configuration

    Responsibilities:

    1. AKS Infrastructure Management:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters to support our containerized applications.
  • Implement best practices for AKS security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes using tools like Helm and Azure DevOps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AKS-related issues and ensure high availability of services.

    • 2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager to provision and manage infrastructure resources.
  • Maintain and version control IaC templates to ensure consistency and reproducibility of deployments.

    • 3. AI Integration:

  • Work closely with the AI team to understand their requirements and assist in the integration of AI solutions into our platform.
  • Collaborate on data ingestion, model deployment, and AI pipeline automation.
  • Help in building scalable and reliable AI infrastructure components.

    • 4. Monitoring and Scaling:

  • Develop and implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure and AI components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Proactively identify scalability bottlenecks and work on scaling solutions as needed.

    • 5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Document AKS and AI-related processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members on AKS and AI technologies.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing AKS clusters and PaaS environments
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to AI and machine learning concepts and technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with on-premises infrastructure technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Azure certifications (., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus
  • Experience with MS SQL is a plus.
