    Tax Specialist (indirect taxes)

    Location: Warsaw

    What will you do - Responsibilities:

  • Preparing data / calculating and completing tax declarations in accordance with the required regulations, doing verifications, with main focus on VAT and excise tax
  • Posting and reconciliation of relevant tax accounts
  • Reviewing source documents (i.e. contracts, invoices, shipping documents, and other if needed) in order to ensure tax compliance
  • Close cooperation with GBS in terms of VAT compliance process
  • Preparing and / or maintaining up-to-date relevant tax compliance procedures
  • Providing ongoing indirect tax consultations and advices to operational teams
  • Preparing tax data and replies to financial audits, tax authorities and other administrative bodies
  • Doing tax analysis and researches
  • Preparing drafts for tax rulings
  • Monitoring changes in indirect tax regulations and ongoing analysis of the effects of changes on tax and business processes, preparing relevant communication
  • Support in automation and improvements of tax processes taking into consideration new tax regulations and changes

    • Who are we looking for - Requirements:

  • You have a University Degree in Finance, tax specialization would be an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax compliance
  • Knowledge of Polish tax law, especially in VAT;
  • Experience in excise tax – would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Solid and practical knowledge of SAP system - would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of English (B1/B2) and Polish (native/C1)
  • Process orientation and attention on details
  • Ability to work in a team (team player mindset)
  • Ability to work with deadlines, under some level of stress
  • High ability to organize and prioritize own work
