Join the Learning Analytics team at Sanoma Learning and help transform educational data into actionable insights that improve learning outcomes for millions of students across Europe. Our team focuses on student performance, teacher effectiveness, and product usage analytics to continuously enhance our educational solutions.

You will be part of a dynamic, international team where initiative, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making are key. If you are passionate about education technology and want to make a meaningful impact on how students learn, we would love to hear from you.

In this hybrid role, you will combine Product Owner responsibilities with Business Analyst tasks. You will contribute to product vision, prioritize features, and engage with stakeholders, while also documenting requirements, optimizing processes, and coordinating team activities. You will work closely with educators, data analysts, and engineering teams to shape solutions that improve student outcomes and teaching effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the user research team and internal stakeholders to understand the analytics needs of teachers, administrators, and students, and translate these into actionable product requirements

• Manage and maintain the Jira backlog, ensuring tickets are clearly defined and well-scoped

• Create and maintain documentation in Confluence

• Gather and document detailed business requirements, translating them into user stories

• Coordinate incoming requests and ensure smooth workflow management across the team

• Support light project management activities, including facilitating meetings and tracking deliverables

• Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and promote responsible data handling practices

• Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of best practices within the team
   

Your profile

• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar hybrid role

• Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence

• Experience working in Agile environments

• Understanding of data privacy principles and a privacy-conscious mindset

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, etc.)

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Interest in or understanding of educational data (student performance, learning outcomes, engagement analytics)

• Experience in edtech, learning analytics, or K-12 education is a strong advantage

• Willingness to travel occasionally
