Your Mission:

As a Global Commodity Buyer – Electronics, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the global sourcing strategy for electronic components.

You will be responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships, driving cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring a robust contract landscape that supports Lear's long-term business goals.

Working cross-functionally with regional teams, you will contribute to performance targets and innovation across the supply base.


Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement commodity strategies aligned with business needs and global procurement objectives. Negotiate and finalize core agreements and long-term contracts with strategic suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity. Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with Supplier Quality Development (SQD), supporting innovation and risk mitigation. Lead supplier relationship management efforts, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support commercial cost reduction activities, including benchmarking, insource/outsource analysis, and supplier localization planning.


What We Expect:
Experience in strategic purchasing role. Background in direct electronics / PCBA commodity. Proficiency in MS Office. Fluent English.
