- You will be the process owner and main driver of for the initiation of the pre-assessment as well as the initial supplier approval (pre-audit & release audit)
- You will consult and contribute supplier performance indicators within the supplier awarding process and during the supplier awarding committee
- You will be responsible for the onboarding and supplier readiness for new business awards, volume expansions and ramp up/ramp down programs
- You will be responsible for the maturity level assurance and successful part industrialization at the supplier until PPAP release and series supply for designated parts and projects (incl. ETAP)
- You will be the main contributor and partner in the strategic commodity teams for the continuous evaluation and improvement of the supplier pool
- You will be responsible for active supplier management of designated supplier key accounts within the technology segment and driver of continuous supplier improvement, capability assurance and temporary escalation initiatives
- You will be the main driver for the application and execution of the established supplier scorecards (internally & externally)
- You will be initiator and key contributor for collaborative supplier workshops and trainings and utilization of the supplier development toolbox (SMED, KANBAN, LEAN,...)
- You will collaborate with the regional risk organization and capacity organization to manage the respective supply base and establish necessary mitigation actions and measures
- You will ensure supplier readiness for designated parts/suppliers
- You will deal with transformation of supply base by application of supplier development methods suppliers)
- Bachelor or master in business, engineering, or equivalent
- Experience of 5+ years of supplier management and/or quality management in industrial area, ideally in OEM, manufacturing or automotive sector
- In-depth knowledge of common manufacturing processes within the designated technology cluster
- Good project management, communication and organizational skills
- Proficient decision making and analytical problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of the common standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF and other automotive core tools
- Fluent English
- High degree of flexibility, willingness to travel and assertiveness
- Knowledge of Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics and Supplier Relationship Management
- Knowledge of additional language (French, Italian, Polish or German)
