    Opis

    Chief Accountant in R2R Team

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting across the legal entity operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. Manage will include direct responsibility and oversight of accounting performed in other teams
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the legal entity forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements in line with local and US GAAP
  • Manage and comply with all local reporting requirements
  • Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including completion of sub-ledger postings, reconciliations, posting to GL, Fixed Assets, AP, AR, Inventory and Cash accounting
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Support GL Team Leader and R2R Manager to develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements
  • Provide periodic internal and external reports and support ad hoc data request from management or markets
  • Responsible for compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures

    • Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Proficiency in English
  • Very good knowledge, insight, and experience in financial accounting USGAAP, IFRS, local GAAP principles
  • Proven 5+ years of working experience in similar role
  • Ability to leverage and build on ERP skills to ensure operational excellence and service quality
  • Good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access) and hands on experience with SAP
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
