- Provide technical leadership and vision for the DevOps team, defining and implementing best practices for infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap, aligning with overall business goals

- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes, driving automation, efficiency, and agility within the software delivery lifecycle

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant leadership experience
- Proven experience in designing, architecting, and implementing large-scale, secure, and reliable AWS solutions
- AWS Security & Architecture Skills (AWS certifications like certified solution architect & security specialty)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing DevOps teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty)
- Strong strategic and business acumen
- Cloud: Extensive and deep understanding of a broad range of AWS services, best practices, and architectural patterns (AWS Cloud Architecture, AWS Serverless Architecture, AWS Security)
- IaC Mastery: Advanced proficiency in CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools with the ability to design and manage complex infrastructure as code templates
- Scripting and Programming Expertise: Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Go, Ruby) and proficiency with one or more programming languages (., Python, Java, Go) for building robust automation solutions
- Security Champion: Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, security automation, compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO), and incident response strategies
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership skills, fostering a positive team environment, inspiring innovation, and effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Terraform & GitHub knowledge
