Opis

Development of HMI Components for high end automotive interior applications within an European cross functional R&D team. The products include passive and active haptic interfaces, high end surfaces, sensoric applications and displays for future mobility solutions.

Scope of Domain

Designing sophisticated hardware, developing it to production readiness, testing and releasing it within the bounds of the requirements typical for the automotive industry. Executed within an interdisciplinary R&D team with interfaces to system design, mechanics, software and validation.

Job Description

Hardware Engineering for HMI products including the creation of the HW architecture, definition and implementation of HW Cyber Security Requirements, detailing of HW Design and optimization of Manufacturability, Create the Schematic of the HW and the specification for the PCB Design, Review the HW/SW Interface Specification, create the FMEDA and FTA, carry out the Safety Analysis and DFMEA detection and preventive actions for the HW, Perform the Risk Analysis, Plan, Execute and document the HW Qualification and EMC Tests for the Release.

Optional in direct Contact with Customer and Suppliers.

Participation in internal meeting with departments for industrialization, purchasing, quality for simultaneous engineering tasks.

Travel to customers or other locations within the Kostal Group for e.g. meetings or project work is expected. The willingness to spend longer periods at HQ in Germany for extensive training or longer-term collaboration in project teams is advantageous.

Experience with common layout programs

Knowledge about PCB technology

Experience with measurement, electronic, emc and high-speed design of PCBs

Required education:

Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering.

Required experience:

Experience in the field of automotive development if beneficial.

Requirements with regard to foreign languages:

fluent English is mandatory, Basic German is beneficial.

Dear Candidate, the role is located in Wroclaw, Poland. No remote work possibility. The successfully hired Candidate will work from the office on a daily basis
