- Plan and implement the overall production strategy according to GEA production system
- Leading the production departments to have the most cost-effective production in the right quantities, at the right quality, at the right time
- Supervising the work of all production departments
- Continuously develop and maintain production organization (processes, systems (SAP), LEAN manufacturing and employees (skills) to improve competencies and performance
- Ensure close collaboration with Supply Chain Department and QHSE Department
- Comprehensive supervision of the execution of production plans
- Develop and implement optimization systems, methods and procedures with respect to process improvement, problem resolution, goal achievement, etc. (e.g. Hoshin-Kanri-Matrix, LEAN manufacturing, etc.)
- Define and manage of subordinate operating budget and responsibility for operating costs incurred
- Ensuring efficient use of resources
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in timely manner
- Participation in the definition and monitoring of corporate goals
- Manage and motivate a team of production departments
- Ensure policies, procedures, activities, etc. are compliant with company rules, local laws, regulations and ordinances
- Ensuring compliance of HSE regulations
- Consider the environmental impact of the production in order to meet sustainability targets
- Master degree on engineering or manufacturing
- Experience in project management
- Min 5 years relevant work experience in production area
- Green Belt Lean manufacturing
- Experience in team leading
- Extensive experience in conflict management
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence, leadership
- Ability to manage human resources, delegate authority and supervise the proper performance of tasks by subordinates.
- Ability to build business relationships based on trust
- Business orientation and problem-solving skills
- Fluent Polish and English – an essential prerequisite, Knowledge of German language will be a big asset
- Result oriented, analytical and strong planning skills
