- Be responsible for leading and owning the Print and Promotional materials category globally, for shaping that category strategy in alignment with stakeholders and business partners
- Work with the senior procurement managers in the team to support the implementation of sourcing strategies and other spend categories within the sales enablement space - across multiple countries and regions. Sales enablement is an exciting category very specific to the Pharma industry supporting how we can launch drugs and vaccines, ensuring as many patients can benefit from them.
- Lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives in line with the strategy to deliver both top line growth and bottom line savings
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (up to VP level) to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
- Partner with one or more Business Units or commercial functions (e.g. Oncology, Specialty, Market Access, Commercial Insights & Operations)
- Manage key suppliers within areas of responsibility, driving performance, value and innovation to the business.
- Keep abreast of external market changes, innovations and opportunities that GSK could take advantage of
- Ensure GSK's Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.
- University degree
- 5+ years of relevant procurement experience
- Full proficiency in English
- Business stakeholder management and influencing, this includes the ability to build strong relationships and to influence without express authority
- Able to drive and deliver business impacting cost savings
- Ability and track record to manage contract negotiations
- Experience leading end to end supplier tender/RFP/competitive bid processes
- Procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, with a track record of managing end to end contract negotiations with favourable outcomes
- Procurement experience within the Pharma industry
- Previous experience across commercial or medical engagement spend categories
- Indirect category management, cost model synthesis and supplier relationship management for delivering multi-country, high spend complex engagements.
- Demonstrated success in delivering a multi-year strategy ensuring competitive commercial advantage
- Budgeting and forecasting, commercial and financial acumen.
