    Role Overview:

    As a Calypso Technical Analyst, you will be a part of Calypso Support IT team in SCIB area working with the BackOffice team, primarily in Security Financing, Foreign Exchange (FX) &, Money Market business. Your role will require collaboration with internal staff and external contractors who have functional and technical knowledge of Calypso, who deal with support and maintenance tasks and project implementation. Additionally, you will cooperate with business, other application teams and units that support administration and maintenance of Calypso.

    What You'll Be Doing as Calypso Technical Analyst:

    • Work closely with the Support and Maintenance team on the development of the new components, assist in their maintenance and enhancement, participate in debugging issues.
    • Be responsible for the technical aspect of implementation (customizing the application to fulfill the business requirements, integration with the other systems of the bank).
    • Plan your tasks based on the product roadmap and priorities, ensure compliance with SLAs in terms of Calypso Production Service Level.
    • Play an active role in the project implementation team, software delivery by ensuring that quality and scope expectations are met.
    • Identify potential gaps in processes from both IT and business perspective.

    What we are looking for:

    • In-depth knowledge of Calypso (v.16) system technologies.
    • Java programming skills.
    • Experience in analysis and implementation of customized solutions for BackOffice processes in Calypso application (trading, validation, settlement, confirmation, accounting, reporting, etc.).
    • Experience in project delivery and support/maintenance.
    • Enough business knowledge to talk to stakeholders and business analysts to understand what business needs.
    • Enough technical knowledge to effectively collaborate with other technology teams.
    • Knowledge of different financial products (Fixed Income, Equities, Forex &, Money Market, Derivatives, etc.).
    • Knowledge of Calypso configuration: Workflows (Trades, Transfers, Messages), Task Station, Matching, Settlement, Accounting, Message setup, SWIFT, Confirmation messages (Paper, CLS), Static Data, Schedule tasks, Reports, etc.
    • Familiarity with Service Now, ALM, Jira/Confluence tools, Agile Methodologies, will be a plus.
    • Availability for occasional business trips.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finances, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering.
    • Fluent English.
    • Knowledge of Spanish will be a plus.
