To strengthen our Product Design Studio Competence Center, we are looking for an Electrical Transient Simulation Engineer to join an international R&D environment.
You will work on advanced engineering projects for a global client from the energy sector, contributing to the development and validation of electrical systems used in industrial and power applications.
Your tasksDeveloping and implementing design rules for transformers and power electronic systems
Modeling and validating transient phenomena in medium and high-frequency electrical systems
Analyzing overvoltage events and the impact of transient conditions on electrical networks
Using simulation tools (MATLAB, FEM) to analyze network resonance and system configurations
Providing technical support during the requirements definition phase and to the quality teams
Taking ownership of assigned work packages within R&D projects
Contributing to intellectual property and risk management activities
Requirements
MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in transient analysis and simulation of electrical power systems
Knowledge of grid-connected power converters and switching behavior
Strong proficiency in MATLAB and electrical simulation tools (Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice, EMTP)
Experience with FEM tools (Ansys, Comsol) – nice to have
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in international teams
Very good command of English
Residing in Poland required
