An integral part of this transformation is the growing importance of Data as an Asset to promote quality and availability. To support the execution of the Data Governance strategy we are recruiting a Data Quality Analyst into the Data Management Team reporting to the Data Office Senior Manager. The Data Quality Analyst will have overall responsibility for driving data quality improvement initiatives. The Data Quality Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as data governance, data engineering, and business, to address data quality issues, align data requirements, and promote a data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to proactively monitor, evaluate and enhance data quality.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to understand data structure and identify anomalies, patterns, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
• Work with both business and technical teams to document business rules and codify them into data quality rules.
• Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to understand data sources, transformation processes, and system interactions.
• Investigate data quality issues, identify the underlying root causes, and provide clear problem statements and recommendations.
• Coordinate data cleansing and enrichment activities.
• Define metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess data quality.
• Develop/Manage and own data quality reporting tools allowing to see any issues with incoming data and alert the business where needed.
• Develop/Manage a dashboard for tracking data quality status and share updates with Leadership.
• Drive ongoing improvements in data quality by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing data quality best practices.

• Experience working with a wide range of business functions.
• Educated to degree level in IT or Business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on experience and skills in performing data quality analysis and profiling.
• Experience in performing data cleansing, standardization, and enrichment.
• Proficient with SQL.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (PowerBI Dashboard, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Good project management and change management skills.
• Keen to work in an international, collaborative environment and with virtual teams.
• Fluent in English.
