    Position Summary

    This position requires critical thinking and leadership and the ability to work with a wide array of financial models dealing with revenue analysis, stock compensation and expense analysis to name a few. In addition to generating work product, the role will be responsible for the development of Staff Accountants. Oversight of Staff accountants and responsibility for certain areas will be a focus. The role will be required to review Staff Accountants work product for accuracy and content. Critical thinking will play an important part in training and mentoring Staff Accountants. The role will be required to support and develop ad hoc reporting and scheduled analysis activities to support senior management.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Account reconciliations and roll forwards
  • Account analysis and clear and concise explanations
  • Document monthly Sarbanes Controls
  • Development & support of complex models used to drive business decisions
  • Assistance with SEC reporting schedules
  • Mentoring and training of Staff Accountants
  • Management and review of staff accountant work product
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects as necessary
  • Process review and improvement
  • Research and training of technical accounting issues
  • Skill and Educational Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years accounting experience in general ledger and financial statement preparation
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SOX control in publicly traded company
  • Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
  • Fluent English (B2-C1)
  • Ability to communicate analytically with all levels of personal and management
  • Experience with large financial systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced analytical problem solving
  • Ability to work or overlap with U.S. hours
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days per week, office location - ul. Chłodna 51)
