For one of our client, we are currently looking for Candidates for the role of:

Position: RTR Accountant with Spanish
Location: Poznań, Poland

ROLE:

• Overall responsibility for the financial accounting and closings of designated clients' companies
• First point of contact ("Business Partner") for the Finance Manager of the respective affiliate in all financial accounting matters.
• Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and IFRS
• Cost center accounting and preparation of statements of income (SOI) in accordance with IFRS and group-specific guidelines
• Self-reliant analysis and documentation of accounts and financial statements
• Steering of external service providers and main contact for financial and tax auditors
• Monitoring and reporting of VAT transactions and contact person for questions related to VAT
• Pro-active development and standardization of accounting processes / accounting systems
• Participation in international projects, e.g. S/4HANA implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ year experience in finance and accounting, preferably with closing activities / financial statements
• Successfully completed professional education in accounting or a Bachelor/Master degree with focus on finance and accounting
• Very good knowledge (min. B2) of Spanish
• Very good knowledge (min. B2) of English
• Additional accounting certificates will be an asset
• Very good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Confident handling of SAP R/3 (FI/CO) and MS Office applications
• High sense of responsibility
• Result-orientation and assertiveness, especially in the application of international and Group standards
• Independent and customer-oriented way of working
• Team orientation
• Constant willingness for professional development
