- Engaging in technical consultations with internal customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on the solutions
- Designing modular solutions in the form of functional modules or building blocks that will be easily scalable and reusable
- Thorough prototype testing that includes reporting and documenting the results to find areas for improvement
- Creating technical concepts and writing detailed technical documentation to ensure that the solutions can be easily understood and implemented by engineering teams
- Overseeing the launch of designed modular solutions for production, providing support and guidance throughout the implementation process
- Preparing cost estimation with cost optimization in mind; ordering suitable materials for project implementation
- Working closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and successful implementation of designed solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in designing machinery and equipment, with a focus on modular solutions
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and relevant regulations
- Experience with Aras or another product lifecycle management tool
- Great communication skills in Polish and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Being detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work

About the Role
As a Functional Modules Design Engineer, your primary focus will be the modularization of solutions, ensuring efficient and flexible designs. Your other responsibilities will include designing, modernizing, and standardizing our line balancing or robotics modules, stoppers, mergers, grippers, machinery, and equipment. Some solutions have already been designed in previous years, which equals reusing solutions across projects instead of reinventing the wheel each time
