    Key Responsibilities:

  • As a field based ASME inspector, you will be part of a team of driven technicians and independently visit LRQA's assigned clients.
  • On the basis of the international ASME standard, you will assess whether newly built pressure equipment put on the market complies with it.
  • You also test the correct implementation of the ASME quality control system at your customers.
  • Your tasks will also include inspecting and CE-certifying pressure equipment in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). This ranges from single appliances to complete new-build installations at end-users.
  • Besides inspection and assessment, you will also be responsible for supervising welder qualifications and welding procedure qualifications and attending and assessing non-destructive (welding) material tests. You will also provide advice on welding technology.
  • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Technical education with a Bachelor or Univerisity Degree with at least years of relevant work experience in the field of design, manufacture or inspection of pressure equipment
  • IWE certified or qualified with ambition to certify
  • Ideally qualified as an ASME Authorised Inspector (AI) or knowledge of ASME regulations
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and codes
  • Good command of the Polish and English languages both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to travel within Europe to be deployed at international customers, mainly in Netherlands and Sweden.
