- Evangelize DevSecOps transformation within the organization.
- Conduct thorough security assessments of applications, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement secure coding practices and guidelines.
- Perform code reviews to identify and remediate security issues in both new and existing code.
- Conduct application security related trainings and presentations.
- Promote mature security posture.
- Stay informed about the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Application Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of application security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with security tools and frameworks.
- Experience with code reviews and identifying security vulnerabilities in various programming languages.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and the ability to educate development teams.
- Familiarity and understanding of DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
