- Shipment data collection, cleansing and consolidation for scheduled global and regional general cargo RFQs processes (all transport modes: air, ocean, rail, road & parcel)
- Conduct initial and final RFQ analysis and consolidate outcome/results in agreed templates
- Enter and maintain supplier and pricing data in internal repositories
- Support the strategic negotiation for general cargo by gathering suppliers and pricing data into comparable scenario's for the decision makers and stakeholders to review during tendering activities
- Use the data assessments to review with category managers and create or adjust those scenario's
- Monitor carrier nomination compliance, quality, identify gaps and respective actions
- Supplier's Master Data Management in SAP S4H – ensure availability of the Business Partner in SAP based on the RFQ nomination results
- Control completeness & correctness of the Supplier's master data in S4H
- In cooperation with data specialists from our suppliers continuously improve and develop the data provided
- Ensure internal availability of up to date information on Supplier qualification, risk status and performance
- At least 3 years of working experience as data analyst in international transportation, supply chain, logistics management or equivalent. (Specialist/Senior role)
- Experience in supporting global and local sourcing activities is a plus
- Must be able to work in remote and comfortable in global multi cultural team
- Advanced desktop computer skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook required
- Experience with tools like PowerBI, Keelvar, Xeneta is a plus
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Advanced presentation skills (data story telling)
- Drive to find and design solutions to combine complex data sources with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency
- Strong team player
- Strong written and verbal communications skills required to manage a multitude of internal and external customers and partners
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
- Proactively seek out projects and initiatives around data and dashboards to drive continuous improvement

:The Trade, Transport & Logistics (TT&L) Global Reporting and Analytics team is part of the central functions of TT&L in Hitachi Energy.
The TT&L Global Transportation Data Analyst is responsible to cleanse and consolidate shipment data for global and regional general cargo RFQs and conduct analysis of the suppliers feedback to display the outcome for the decision-making process. Furthermore, he/she maintains the supplier data base, including supplier status and tariffs in internal repositories. Furthermore, gathers and delivers data for the internal system updates.
By being the subject expert, the analyst will also be point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers in regard to the data related topics.
