    Opis

    For our Client, big, international manufacturing company, we are currently looking for: Senior/Independent Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintenance and development of accounting, tax policies, their proper execution compliant to tax, statutory and Group requirements.
    • Participates in the periodic closes, preparation of financial statements, tax and statistical returns and relevant document flow according to specific standards.
    • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data, maintaining policies and controls on fiscal files and accounting records.
    • Maintaining the adequate tax documentation and accounting postings. Supervision over the correctness of tax settlements.
    • Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations.
    • Close cooperation with the Financial Director. Responding to inquiries regarding accounting and tax issues, financial results.
    • Looking for solutions to ensure cost and tax optimization.
    • Preparation of selected reports for external institutions and internal departments of the company.
    • Supervision over the proper circulation of accounting documents. Maintenance of relevant procedures.
    • Timely payment of domestic and foreign liabilities.
    • Preparation of current payments and formal control of transfers.

    Requirements:

    • English spoken and written as a must.
    • University degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a similar field.
    • Extended experience in accounting position.
    • Practical knowledge of accounting law and tax law.
    • Experience in controlling reporting.
    • Hands on experience in tax, statistical reports preparation and submission.
    • Knowledge of specialized financial and accounting applications.
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
    • Knowledge of SAP system would be a plus.
    • High standards of professional conduct, precision, reliability, results orientation.
    • Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.
    • Initiative and proactivity in searching for and implementing new solutions.
    • High communication skills and teamwork orientation.
    • Independence in action, ability to make decisions and work under time pressure.
    • Taking own initiatives and involvement in the activities.
    • Skills in understanding and analyzing financial reports or budgets.
