- Deploying and configuring Cloud Native and Data platforms in cloud environment
- Leverage DevOps tools to build continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Configure and integrate monitoring and metrics tools
- Configure, maintain and monitor security tools to ensure maximum availability and reliability
- Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into cloud applications
- Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers
- Active participation in scrum ceremonies and on-site PI plannings (quarterly in client's office in Germany)
- 5+ years of experience in Operations or Systems Administration
- 4+ years of experience with Azure
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably in Python
- Experience with automation: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker
- Understanding of Linux environment and networking (hands-on experience)
- Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage) and containers
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good command of English
- Experience with Big Data platforms, eg: Cloudera, Databricks
- Experience with monitoring and logging: Splunk, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Logstash, Newrelic
- Good command of German
