- You will work on transitioning the database services from traditional infrastructure to those managed in the public cloud and/or those based on Kubernetes,
- This is a process that won't happen right away, so you will also have to take care of the existing database infrastructure so that it runs smoothly and is always available,
- At the same time, you will create and maintain tools to improve, optimize and automate tasks in our infrastructure.
- Proven experience with NoSQL databases, such as: MongoDB, Couchbase, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, ScyllaDB;
- Knowledge of data modeling design topics oriented towards optimal data storage and high performance;
- Experience in migration of large volumes of data between different database systems;
- Practical expertise in finding causes of performance problems, performing load tests, tuning queries and selecting optimal indexes;
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and GCP cloud environment;
- Understanding of issues with performing backups and disaster recovery;
- Willingness to work with programmers;
- Experience with NewSQL databases like CockroachDB, Yugabyte, RavenDB is welcome;
