We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Database Administrator to support mission-critical Linux-based platforms within Enterprise Infrastructure.
This is a production-facing role supporting global platforms including:
IBM Sterling File Gateway
IBM Connect:
Direct
BMC Control-M
Your Responsibilities
Oracle database installation, configuration & maintenance
Patch management & database upgrades
Backup, restore & recovery validation (RMAN / HA / replication)
Performance troubleshooting & tuning
L2/L3 production support & incident resolution
Log analysis (DB + Linux level)
Weekend production changes & participation in 24/7 on-call rota
Collaboration with Linux and Application teams
Required Experience
5+ years as a DBA in production environments
Strong Oracle expertise
Strong Linux knowledge (RHEL)
Experience with HA / replication / backup & recovery
Proven troubleshooting skills in mission-critical systems
English on B2/C1 level
Nice to Have
Shell scripting / basic automation
Experience with file transfer or batch platforms
Financial services / regulated environment exposure
