Do you have passion for accounting and leading teams? Pierce is now looking for a highly driven professional with an eye for improvements and as a noted company we are committed to delivering high standards in Finance team. This role leads a team of 14 professionals within AP, AR and GL team.

Pierce is a international and fast-growing product company within e-commerce selling gear, parts and accessories to riders across all of Europe. This role is a key role in Finance reporting to Head of Finance in Pierce Group Head Office in Stockholm.

Role requirements

• Higher education in Finance, Accountancy or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and Operational Management, including min 3 years of managing teams
• Expert knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, ability to translate changes into accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge on VAT, Income tax and other company related obligations
• Strong knowledge about Internal control process
• Strong in MS Office; especially Excel, and also ERP
• Excellent time management skills (dealing well with deadlines).
• Very good English skills– enabling business communication.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically, be detail-oriented and have the courage to take the initiative.
• Highly developed leadership, motivational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage teams and cooperate with other departments.
• Certified public accountant (Register Accountant) qualification is a preferred
• Positive attitude, decisive personality.

Responsibility

• Ensuring proper, high quality and effective functioning of the financial area (including taxes) for the Group, excluding financial control and financial planning.
• Ensuring accurate and complete accounting and monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, both externally and internally. Reporting should be done in cooperation with the Financial Control team and Financial Planning.
• Ensuring compliance with tax and VAT regulations.
• Acting as a leader in projects and tasks related to the area of ​​responsibility - both internally and externally (auditors and other advisors).
• Analysis and identification of risks and requirements of the Group related to internal control and taxes, with particular emphasis on issues related to the Group's listing on the stock exchange.
• Actively proposing and implementing initiatives (together with other departments) aimed at reducing risk in the area of ​​responsibility.
• Developing and improving accounting and reporting routines and processes.
• Monitoring changes in regulations that affect the Group from a financial, reporting or tax perspective.
• Acting as a process owner and supervising the definition of requirements to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of IT systems within the area of ​​responsibility.
