- Performs complex fund/client accounting responsibilities in areas of driving service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions.
- Responsible for the completion of in-depth data analysis of reconciliations and leading engagements across business areas. Identifies trends, provides complex root cause analysis and executes on recommendations.
- Review of cash & asset reconciliations for the client's collective investment portfolios ensuring timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standards whilst ensuring compliance with appropriate Reconciliation standards.
- Reviews and oversees user testing and the implementation of reconciliation software / rule developments.
- Reviews and assists more junior level staff in identifying more complex issues.
- Performs complex root cause analysis of reconciliation breaks
- Assist the Managers with the following tasks:
- Develop a sound understanding of all technical functions and processes across the dept.
- Identify processes/procedures which may be causing delays in performing the reconciliation function and escalate so that these issues may be addressed and resolved.
- Either solid experience in a NAV/Fund Accounting operational environment; or broader experience in several related business areas including perhaps trade capture, data, reconciliations, custody & treasury ops,
- Team supervision experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Ability to work on a self-directed basis, proactiveness.
- Proven problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to uncover solutions and understand root causes.
- An effective communicator on all levels
- Fluency in English is essential.
- High level of accuracy and professionalism
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Fund/Client Accounting - Recon to join our Fund Accounting team . This role is located in Wroclaw, hybrid.
