    Job Description

    The job at glance:

    The three teams in our streamlined squad are currently building an extended RAG, covering multiple use-cases to serve jobseekers better fitting jobs and recruiters better fitting talents via semantic search. We are using inhouse-built LLMs that we deploy on AWS together with multiple Vector DBs to support retrieval. To this end we collaborate tightly between Data Scientists, Machine Learning and Big Data Engineers, as well as Cloud Software Engineers and DevOps in a Scrum environment. You will cover cloud operations and infrastructure setup as well as support migration between AWS accounts to accelerate development of new products.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Support setup and management of a Vector Database into a self-hosted LLM-based service
  • Act as a special liaison to our central IaaS teams
  • Support the setup and administration of newly created AWS accounts
  • Enable two teams in our business by managing LLM-Operations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, explaining cloud concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • You will join an established team owning self-hosted LLM-based internal RAG services
  • You have influence on design, planning and implementation of technical solutions
  • You will be collaborating closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Cloud Software Engineers

    • Qualifications

    Your skills and qualifications:

  • Strong team player, willing to learn from and contribute to an experienced team
  • High engagement, proactivity, and sense of ownership
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • High proficiency with IaC (Terraform), CI/CD and Test automation best practices
  • High proficiency in AWS administration and permission management (IAM)
  • Experience with setup of compute, storage, and service infrastructure
  • Experience with networking and content delivery in the AWS cloud (VPC, Route53)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred
  • Experience in infrastructure support for hosting LLMs in production is a plus
  • Experience in productionising AWS-supported Vector Databases is a big plus
  • Experience in AWS EMR and Spark is a big plus
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus
